We Take Pride In Our Support of Charities
A Message From The Owners
As a community-minded business for over 30 years, we have been blessed with the ability year after year to support many local charities. We have also helped to raise awareness and money for many national charitable organizations.
It has only been possible because of our clients continued support; that has afforded us the opportunity to give back so much to our community and beyond.
Today; our commitment to our community is just as important to us as it was back in 1989. With each new staff member that joins our team; the importance of “Giving Back” is discussed during our training sessions. Taking a leadership role has helped us to always seek new and innovative ways to help support our community.
Below is just a quick snapshot of our continued community support.
Donations Of Love
After visiting all the schools in Wayne NJ; we were able to cut and donated over 450 pony tails to the Locks of Love organization. We then held a private fundraiser and we raised $10,000. Owners Linda & Steve traveled to Florida to personally give them the check.
Mohawks & Makeovers for Hunger
Once again we were able to help raise much-needed funds for CUMAC. This past Saturday we helped the team to raise $4000 by cutting & styling hair in our salon. This was our second year in supporting this cause, and combined we helped to bring in over $7000.
Save Our Sports
New Jersey 12 News visited our salon to learn about our SOS “Save Our Sports” fundraising campaign. The campaign drive was for the Athletic programs of Wayne Valley, Wayne Hills, DePaul HS, Boys & Girls Club of Wayne and the PAL of Wayne.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving
We opened our doors to over 40 students who signed up to get a free haircut. The salon is usually closed on Monday, however, our stylists volunteered their time to help out in raising awareness about the danger of drinking and driving.
The staff at Public Image donated their day off (Sunday), their talents, and 100% of the entire day’s proceeds to benefit the City of Hope. Our decision to participate in Hope Cuts was simple, says Salon Owner Linda “they do great things to help so many people. Helping them to help others enables us to support our community as well as reach people in need outside of our community”.
