After graduating Ramapo HS, Tana decided to pursue a career in the beauty industry and attended Parisian Beauty Academy part of the Paul Mitchell Beauty Schools. It was there that she studied cosmetology and received her basic training. Upon becoming a PIL Team member she has received extensive in salon training in Goldwell coloring application.
