Colorance is no ordinary hair color. It is demi-permanent that repairs the structure of your hair. Keep reading to learn more about this amazing hair product.

What is Colorance?

Colorance is a demi-permanent hair color, meaning that it contains no ammonia and it gets under the outer cuticle of your hair. It doesn’t penetrate the strands of hair. Instead, it wraps around the cuticle. The color coats the hair and washes out gradually.

Demi-permanent color is a top choice to blend graying hair, enhance or refresh color, tone down highlights, or for color correction.

Colorance uses patented IntraLipid Technology which was developed to repair damaged hair by replenishing the hair’s lost lipids. 70% of your lost lipids are regenerated by Colorance hair color.

Goldwell Colorance Instructions

Colorance is applied to shampooed, towel-dried hair. Once the lotion and color are thoroughly mixed in the applicator bottle, the colorist will saturate the hair being careful to make sure it is evenly distributed.

The color is left on the hair to process for 5 to 25 minutes, depending on how intense you want the resulting color to be.

If you’re using Colorance cover plus lotion with adding covering power, the colorist will apply it to dry hair and stays on for 30 to 45 minutes. Once the color has processed, your hair is shampooed.
